Commissions

I am available for commissions ranging from small to large pieces. These can be undertaken on canvas, vinyl/resin toys, wood, computer - in fact, I'm open to working on any surface at all. Prices are on inquiry and a fixed price for a commission can be given before any work commences.

For vinyl toys and resin toys I can work on blanks I already have available or can work on blanks supplied by the client. If it's a wall... well, you'll have to provide that yourself.

The Brief

I'm flexible when it comes to a brief, although it does depend on how much control and say you want on the final piece. We can go through mock-up iterations, if you would prefer, where I compose roughs in Corel Painter for the piece(s) and we can nail colours and style down. However, this process can be time consuming and a prolonged review process with many drafts may incur additional costs.

Can You do 'x'?

Hmmm, x is a little bit tricky. But here's the thing, I've produced work on so many different surfaces - take a look at my Gallery for an indication of what I mean - that I'm open to anything. You need that really boring wall over there painted or doodled on? No problem.

How Much Does it Cost?

It's the proverbial "how long is a piece of string" question, I'm afraid. As I work in a number of different mediums, and on a wide variety of surfaces, each commission is priced individually. For instance with vinyl toys a design may dictate the need for additional sculpting to embelish the base figure, for canvases I can offer a choice of size, including professionally made custom sized. The best thing to do is ask and right away I'll be able to give you a very rough estimate of the kind of cost you would be looking at.

Payment Terms

A deposit payment will be required in order to undertake a commission and, depending on the project size, a second part-payment may be required before completion, at which point the remainder would become payable. All commissions remain my property until fully paid for and they would not normally be delivered until final payment has been made. We can discuss payment specifics before any work takes place.
